First, it's a shame that such a brilliant young person has killed himself.  However, young, healthy, and sane person doesn't commit suicide because they are being prosecuted for breaking some laws (especially when the sentences for such crimes are usually very light).  This young man obviously had other mental health issues, which led to his death.
